Hailing from Normandy, France, Valentin draws inspiration from the sea, acting as a contrasting horizon to the proximity of his piano. He has collaborated with artists across various musical genres, breaking conventions from sea shanties to classical, and venturing into jazz and folk.  Valentin aims to reinvent concerts with the audience becoming an integral part of the performance. The cinematic aspect of Valentin's musical work has recently taken on a more significant role, with the artist introducing additional textures to the piano, incorporating electronic and ambient sounds, as well as orchestral elements. He regularly composes for literary works and films, performs in classical recitals, and shares his passion for music through teaching.
